The next Aware IM International Developers Conference is in 18 weeks today.

At this stage it looks like the Conference will be held in Bali, Indonesia.

Why Bali?

After a good deal of investigation..... Great location, awesome Resort, best prices, good quality, plenty of options for spouses and family, safe and good conference facilities. And, free WIFI. Not yet a done deal but pretty close. We are negotiating with a great resort that looks like they will give us good rates. It is a beautiful location in at Nusa Dua which is the best part of Bali to stay and a good opportunity for you to come early or stay longer and make a holiday out of the experience.

We also have some great Aware content lined up. For example…..

This year we will run two streams, one for experienced Aware IM Developers and another for Beginners.

The Beginners Zero to Hero class will start on Sunday 21st February and be an all day session.
Welcome drinks and registration will take place on Sunday evening 21st
Monday morning session on 22nd will be a total run through of all the amazing stuff that is in the upcoming Version 7.
We will have a range of presentations on Monday afternoon.
This year we are holding an Aware IM Development Shoot Out. Teams can nominate and can have maximum of three per team.
They will be presented with Instructions at 17:30 on Monday night and will be required to build the best app they can overnight.
Each team will be required to stop development at 08:00 the following morning and will each be required to demo their app to the rest of the audience.
Prizes in addition to the glory of victory and the TV / Media appearances that are sure to follow, will be worth the alcohol free, coffee drowning night that went into your creation.

Tuesday will again break into two streams, Beginners – Day Two of Zero to Hero and the normal non-beginners Workshop sessions.
Wednesday will be an all in combined day and to finish of the event we will have the Awards ceremony and farewell drink at 5:30 PM on Wednesday.

To run the second stream Zero to Hero - Beginners Class (All day Sunday and most of Tuesday) we will need a minimum of 10 participants. There will be an extra charge which we will try and keep to a minimum due to the requirement for a room on Sunday and an additional room on Tuesday.

Tuesday night we are hoping to arrange a group dinner at the amazing Ultimo Restaurant in Seminyak. I have been there and it is Excellent!

If you are new to Aware IM.... this is the most intensive and valuable training your will ever get... and the cheapest.

Also, if you can email us with you interest to come to the conference just to give us a rough idea of numbers, it would be highly appreciated.
