Bracket system for 8 team single elimination

Hello everyone,

has anyone tried to create this functionality and have it presented as in the Photo?

I was not able to find anything posted on this matter.

Hope someone can give me an idea, if this was already done.. :?:

You really need to provide a bit more expanded explanation of what you are trying to do if you expect help with
this sort of thing.

I can easily give you an answer for what you have described.

1+2 = 5
3+4 = 6
5+6 = 7
7 = Winner.

A simpler answer is 42!

Explain what you want. What you have tried. What you don't understand.... etc etc

I have not seen Aware used for anything like that, but I think it can be done.

Are you running a tournament and just want to keep track of which teams have advanced or do you want to provide blank forms for others to fill in with who they think will advance?

I am a newbee, so bear with me.. thought before trying to go deep, check if it has been already done. 😃

Yes, this is for organizing tournaments, in which case the users (gamers) would report their results, the system needs to automaticaly calculate the points (This part I know how to do), and do the elimination, set the winner to proceed to the next game and so on..until we get to the champion. The Query would be in Presentation form like in the image below.
Depending on how many gamers register for the tournament, it could be with less than 8 teams.. or in case more than 8 teams register it should automaticaly create a new tournament and start filling it out..

Whatever suggestion is more than welcome.

We have a few widgets in JS and wanted to know if anyone as implemented similar in the Visual Perspective?

We have our JS deployed in the Tomcat folder
We have JSON wired to the BSV

Just do not know where or how to invoke the JS to be placed in the VP as a new Tab or in a Panel?

If anyone solve the JS bracket in this thread your advice would be great..

Take a look at the AwareApp functions in the user guide and also the advanced scripts of content panels (you can e.g. use DISPLAY LAYOUT to open up a tab from a VP in a tab in your application and then use contentpanel/advanced scripts in your VP tab etc.).

Not entirely sure what you're trying to do but look st the stuff above and see if it helps.
