First problem is how to create a presentation that I can use to display column style results like the auto-generated default presentation provided for the BO. I need to be able to control the columns that are displayed, the labels, the widths, etc.
I can create such a presetation by creating a query and control how it is displayed. How do I create the same type of tubular display and have it display the results of a FIND action in a process? Or create a query that can have search parameters past to it at the time of execution.

Second problem is I want a perspective which displays a query of customers in one panel, below that panel I want a panel displaying a list of payments made by that customer, and to the right of it a panel displaying the items that customers has purchased in the past. I can create the panels using queries, but how do I pass the customer ID parameter. I need the other two panels to update the information when a different customer is selected in the first panel.

Normally you would put the appriate FIND in the Query.

I have read your manual and research your sample applications. I could not find an example of what I am am trying to do in the second situation. I need to be able to pass the customer ID of the record highlighted in the first panel of a perspective to the query being performed in the second and third panels of the same perspective, so that the information being displayed is updated.
If you look at the Home tab of the adminstrators perspective in your Library sample application an imagine being able to highlight one of the names in the Members panel and immediately seeing the Correspondence and Catalog panels refresh with all correspondence with that member and a history all items that member has borrowed. I understand there would have to be an action button on the Members panel to start the process after the member is highlight.[/quote]
