I have been struggling with this for 2 days, any help would be appreciated:

I have set up my BV to receive and send emails. But it isn't able to connect to the smtp mail server or says that authentication failed (see server log output below).

I have read through all the email posts on the forum (three times each) and tried the following:

I have published the app and it still doesn't work
I have set up a mail client on the same server and have been able to successfully send and receive from this using the same details as in AwareIM SystemSettings
I have loaded the CRM sample app with my smtp SystemSettings - doesn't work either

It's a Linux (Ubuntu 9.04) server, using Gnome desktop. I'm on Aware V4.8 Build 1280 (still the evaluation version if that makes a difference).
