I am getting this error when trying to assign a referenced object to another one of same type. Please see the code below:

I have a Subscriber object with multiple-referenced Dependents attribute (of Dependent Object). I also have a Subscription object to which I need to copy data from the Subscriber object. This includes the references of Dependents attribute (of Subscriber Object) to be copied (or created) to another multiple-referenced SubDependents attribute (of Subscription Object).

The objective is to create SubDependents in the Subscription object for each of the Dependents in the Subscriber object.

The above code works if I do not have the very last assignment of the IDType referenced object in both SubDependent & the Dependent objects. NIN, Name, Subscription (also a referenced object) works without any issues. However, when I try to add the last assignment (assigning a referenced object) to another referenced object, it throws up the "Attribute path Subscriber.Dependents.IDType is not valid because attribute IDType has 'multiple allowed' flag on." error message.

IDType in both Dependent and SubDependent objects is NOT an attribute with 'multiple allowed' flag turned on. However, they themselves are multiple referenced objects in Subscriber and Subscription objects respectively.

What I cannot understand is, if the error is because of the multiple referenced objects of Dependents and SubDependents, then no part of this code should work.

Why is it throwing up error when assigning only a referenced object in this statement? If I remove the last line, the rule creates SubDependents in the Subscription object matching with Dependents of the Subscriber Object. I just cannot assign the remaining referenced attributes.

The error message states IDType has 'multiple allowed' flag on. It is not the case in both the Dependent or SubDependent objects.

Any help is appreciated. BTW, I consider myself a newbie to AwareIM even though I had played with it long time back.
