Display layout adds Margins, can I get rid of this?

I'm not sure if it was supposed to also set the default margins to Zero or 5 all-round for new tabs which are opened and which simply contain a form or query (ie. nothing to do with DISPLAY LAYOUT), instead of the 10,15,10,10 (or whatever) they were at previously, which sacrifices excessive screen real estate unnecessarily, especially on small screen devices.
This is what everyone was mainly talking about.
Anyway, the below just taken from b2154 shows that they are still as before, which is what everyone was hoping would be changed:

I agree. This has been a problem, especially the left side.

With todays build, the issue with display layouts in new tabs has been fixed.

YES. now only the issue remains with new tabs having default borders of 10,10,15,10 when its content is just a form or query, as shown in my post 2 post back.

I was hoping the regular tabs would have been fixed, as purist had pointed out. Now one tab shows oneway and another tab shows different.

I am having the same issue and I was about to post this question before I found this thread. I see the last update was in May.

So when will this be resolved? I really HATE how it adds all that space. It should be up to me and not AIM to decide this.

If you are displaying it in a tab, then there should be new controls to specify margins used in a new tab.
