Thanks Rocketman, yeah what i was talking about and thinking about was integrating phone e.g. a IP telephony system that could be used in applications in a more advanced way than just dialing a number. If you have a IP telephony system/client on your computer e.g. Skype and use the link you wrote about, if iΒ΄m not mistaking Skype will call that number and thats good.
My thought and the "ideal" scenario is to have advanced communication tools in Aware IM applications. The option to dial/receive calls and log call data and possible even more advanced features like recording calls, conference functionality, IVR integration etc. The option to have audio/video calls and the same logging features. The option to have chat functionality and also here logging features (more extensive e.g. save chat history etc.). The option to use text to speech from Aware IM applications.
Again this is the ideal scenario and iΒ΄m possible just dreaming π but I can see many uses for these features and would be in on any fund raisers to create any of these features. I might even create fundraising projects for this functionality in the future.
