problem in editing different form

Hi,

i have a object customer.
i create a process in which CREATE action rule and then VIEW Customer USING 'EDIT FORM' used.

it work ok!.

but now i created another process in which CREATE action rule is same but to view or edit i trying to use different USING 'DIFFERENT FORM' then it does not display at all.

it create the instance but does not view the same.

please help me out!!

here is the exact scenario,

Business Object "Customer"
IN THIS CUSTOMER OBJECT I HAVE 3 DIFFERENT FORM VIEW
1. MAIN (CREATE BUSINESS OBJECT)
2. EDIT (EDIT BUSINESS OBJECT)
3 VIEW2 (FOR EDITING PURPOSE BUT WITH DIFFERENT LAYOUT)

Process Name "New Customer"
RULE 1. CREATE CUSTOMER WITH CUSTOMER.ATTRIBUTENAME='Yes'
RULE 2. VIEW CUSTOMER USING 'EDIT FORM'

Process Name "Other ViewTest"
RULE 1. CREATE CUSTOMER WITH CUSTOMER.ATTRIBUTENAME='Yes'
RULE 2. VIEW CUSTOMER USING 'VIEW2'

ABOVE I USED BOTH "EDIT" AND "VIEW" TO EDIT THE OBJECT FORM.

IF THIS IS NOT CLEAR THEN PLS TELL I WILL SEND U THE BSV.

1- Are you saying that "New Customer" works but "Other View Test" does not work?

2- What do the logs tell you ?

yes u r right,

Executing action VIEW Customer USING 'VIEW2'
Process OtherViewTest is suspended. Its id is 5

This comes when we use VIEW action.

You must have some other issue.

I created a new BSV with BO Customer & 1 attribute. Then I executed the following process and an instance of Customer was created and able to be viewed:

CREATE Customer WITH Customer.Name='Yes'
VIEW Customer USING View2

I sent a test bsv with the problem. please...check it.

My test bsv worked fine as described above.

If you want a BSV reviewed for issues, you should probably buy a support ticket with AwareIM support.

Hi,

I understand support now, if there are some issues that is concern only to me then i happily purchase the ticket. And i thought it may be a common to all but right now i able to trace problem somehow..

i run my application from a different pc then it works fine, it is opening the 'otherview' form correctly from the process.

i check the log also but there was nothing, so i am just investigating at my end if needed then i will follow above.

Hi,

I don't get exact problem going on my awareIM server, there is everything OK! with the tomcat log, log viewer but it won't work.

i tested on FireFox, IE too but same happening.

Then i test it on another PC, it works correctly.

I created here a screencast to show the actual view of problem, if somebody have also the same issue then please tell.

We have a looked at the screencast - it is a bit hard to understand as it is without sound, but one can clearly see that after some operations Aware IM can no longer display a form of the object. You need to attach the output of the Aware IM Server, Tomcat and LogViewer when this happens or send us the BSV.
