No way for email to go to Multiple Ppl? Have to CC them ???

according to the Docs, an email goes to one person.
but the CC & BCC can be lists, delimited by ;

My customer sends an email to 3 people, and CCs it to 2 other people

Since "Validate as an email" is turned on for emails, it WILL NOT allow this:
jaymer@aaa.com; jaymer@bb.com
although that IS valid for the CC/BCC lists.

Maybe we send the email to the account manager, and CC if to everyone else?
But isn't that bad email etiquette - you send an email to someone and they get it as a CC ?
I don't want to have to send 3 different emails with the same attachments just so the 3 main ppl don't get their feelings hurt.

Is it because the Regex is not allowing for that format? What if you modify the regex of Aware to allow it?

I haven't tried it but that is what I am leaning on because I have the same issue wherein I need to send an email with an attachment to two different people and one as a BCC.

Yes, this is how Aware works i.e it's only possible to send to 1 recipient in the TO field and is a no good limitation. I hope support can fix this and can't be difficult to fix as it works to send to multiple recipients in CC etc..

Regarding the email stuff, been a while since I tried to get this working but I am fairly sure I tried it all and didn't work and I am also 99% sure Vlad confirmed this was a limitation (but can't find where he wrote it). Support, can you confirm this is a limitation and also share a comment if this will get implemented?

I don't understand what the problem is. CC and BCC can be lists of email addresses separated by semi-colon.

If the problem is in the validation of these lists then either turn off validation or provide your own regular expression that can cope with lists (I am sure you can Google for one).

Making the 'To' email address be a list of email addresses instead of just one

Sending an email to multiple instances of the object achieves the same effect as support lists in "TO"

Vlad, let me try to explain.

I have an email that is supposed to go to:
1) Customer Contact
2) Billing Contact (these can both be equal interested parties at the customer - not one being more or less important than the other)
3) CC: local Account Manager
4) CC: local VP Sales

The email is 20-30meg in size... multiple PDFs, with 10-20 images.

All generation of PDFs work fine.
Sending the email to 1 person (ignore the above structure for a sec) takes 45+ seconds for the 20+Meg to send to the email server - depending on your upload speed of your company to your ISP.

Doing this manually in Outlook is easy. 2 "To's", and 2 "CC's". That only sends 1 email to your SMTP server and it handles distribution.

How to do this in Aware?
Because if I send the email TWICE, then I've taken 45+ seconds TWICE to upload redundant info.
And Who do I CC on each email?
Do the local employees get 2 Emails of 20Meg+ in their Inbox - 1 for each of the recipients?...
meaning, I send it to #1, and CC to #3 & 4,
and then again to #2, and CC to #3 & #4

It wouldn't be correct to ONLY CC the sales team on the 1st email to #1, because they'd never know about #2.
And you can't say that its OK to SEND TO #1, and CC#2 due to etiquette (I referenced that in OP).

These are MY reasons for needing this - I don't know other scenarios for the other guys - that would be interesting to see why the others need this.

I know nowadays the last thing you want to see is garbage email coming to you (spam) and see a bunch of email_addresses in the clear - because then someone else can get your email and you get more spam. Doing this with everyone under BCC doesn't work cause the object is not to hide addresses.

Example 1.
You have 20 customers. Your process:
FIND ALL Customer
SEND SomeEmail TO Customer

Only ONE email will be sent and the TO address will be automatically created as a list of email addresses of the customers found. You DO NOT need to create a list of TO addresses explicitly.

Example 2.
For whatever reason you do not have intelligent objects, but you do have email addresses and you want to send an email to multiple recipients using email lists. The way to do it is use the BCC field and not use the TO keyword in SEND:

CREATE EmailNotification WTH EmailNotification.BCC='person1@test.com;person2@test.com'
SEND EmailNotification

Only one email will be sent to multiple people.

In both examples you can use the CC field as you see fit.

So I don't see any problem.

ok, this sounds good.
how about this:

You have 2 pre-tagged contacts. Your process:
FIND ALL tagged_contacts_for_this_proposal
SEND TheProposal TO the_2_tagged_contacts
AND A CC to the Account manager

Using this method, how does one use the CC field?
And, how do I edit a UNIQUE message to the recipients? "Thanks for the opportunity. Please respond within 2 days."
Normally, I CREATE an OutgoingEmailForm WITH variables (the customer, subject, etc), then EDIT it (where I can enter a message), THEN then SEND after that form saved.

The UserGuide says:
SEND ReservationOfferEmail TO Reservation.Member
but I guess I need:
SEND ReservationOfferEmail TO Reservation.Member and CC to {somelist} and BCC to {somelist}
