Scrollable panel

Is there a way within a VP to make a panel scroll when it expands to larger than the screen size?

I have a single screen application that I have a query showing in the left hand panel which then drives two further panels a master form and then subqueries showing detail related to that master.

At the moment a query /table within a form cannot fill available space (fingers crossed for v8.1) so I am stuck having to use multiple panels.

I thought it does now. I have had panels where, for instance I would set the height to 400px, and then have a query in it returning 20 rows. Doing that would put a scroll bar in the panel. (Many times I also have my query with UNLIMITED and a fixed height, so if I set the query to 420px then I would have the pleasure of seeing 2 scroll bars very close to each other. (actually, if I set the query height to 380 I would also, since there is some overhead space)

Sorry I should've been more specific. My problems are all coming from trying to create an app that fills the available screen, which is hard.

I can set the screen to be a specific size but if the user resizes then white space starts to appear or you need to scroll back and forward. .
