In a perfect world where your app and the contacts that users have in there email client have both the same information Cronofy and aware seem to work for the most part. My experience atm is with office365.
As soon as an attendee to a calendar item does not exist in your aware contact list aware displays this error message to the user and then fails to import any calendar items. Is this the way it is suppose to behave?
If no could we have this updated so it can maybe do one or more of the following:
- Display a list of names / email addresses that are missing from the aware attendee/contacts list
- Allow the import of the calendar item without the attendees and flag a message to a notification channel so the logged in user can address the items later.
- Add the attendees to a particular BO for further processing.
This may not be the best way to deal with this but I am happy to hear how others have solved this...
