Missing Business Spaces

I just updated my version of AwareIM to 7.1 and now I can't access my business spaces. Have I lost them? I can see the tables I think, so is there a way to retrieve them? Please, please, please say there's a way.

What error do you get? Invalid Password?
Are you running the trial version?

Please check Aware IM database settings - make sure it is set up to connect to the same database as before.

This was the answer, something was off with my initial install, it wouldn't update all the files so it seemed to affect the control panel settings. Once I set it back to the mysql database, everything was accessible again (whew!)
