Using TypeScript in Aware???

Is it possible to add support for TypeScript in Aware rather than just using JavaScript? I see other products that are embracing TS to give more power to developers for client side.

Apparently, Aware must include the typescript transpiler in order to convert TS to JS at runtime.

Since TypeScript is just a pre-processor and it creates POSJ (plain old JavaScript), why not just use your favorite editor to craft your TS then after the JS file is generated, plug it in?
