Is it possible to tell or control Aware to do Lazy or Eager Loading on referenced objects?

This way we can select the most optimum way to get data in queries.

Note: before asking what Lazy/eager loading is, please do a Google search.

It seems you can achieve that by using IN BATCHES OF 1 (at least that's what I am learning from my google search)

It appears to do Lazy loading of Reference Attribute instances by default.
When you switch between pages of a RA Instances grid for the first time, only the first page of instances appears to have been loaded with the Parent, cause when you switch to page 2, 3, etc., for the first time the instances for that page are loaded there and then.

Exactly!
But when doing queries and none interactive cases, I want to switch to eager loading for less round trips to database, by using joins and flattening my data. This can improve database especially in high traffic apps.

Batches of 1 is more related to transnational processing than relational data access.
