How to remove comma's in numbers fields in csv file?

Hello,

I have a new MRP csv file format I am importing. All works fine but when the vendor created the csv file they used comma's in the number fields on values over 1000 which messes up my qty fields after importing. 1,000 shows as just 1 2,000 shows as just 2 you get the idea....
Is there a rule I can add to the Import template to ignore the comm's on the qty fields?

You should be able to open it in Excel and ensure that on Save as CSV, that the values are quoted.

That could be a short term work around, but hopefully the vendor can start sending the customer the csv file where quotes are already around values.
I'll see if when I open it in Excel I can get the quotes around the values and not just the text.

technically it is an invalid csv format, so they should fix it their end...
Edit - i guess its not invalid but it wouldn't be to spec so to speak...
