Filtered queries cannot be modified after Edit

I have a standard query with an Edit action attached. When the query is filtered, then the object is edited and closed, on returning to the query is it no longer possible to modify or clear the query. The filter parameter is gone as is the X to clear it. Using the drop menu to clear the filter does not work. This is a global problem on all queries.

Why don't you edit your post and attach a zip file containing a simple bsv so as to make it easy for support to replicate/see the issue without having to frig around making a bsv themselves?
Otherwise, you're just asking for the inevitable, 'please send us an email with a bsv and step by step instructions on how to replicate'.
Seems logical that every minute of extra work needed makes it less likely to get attention.
