V7 - Form design

Hi all,

don't know others but, a time consuming task is designing forms.

In V6 if I place more attributes on same line and specified the exact witdth/pixels for each attribute/label, these widths was respected.

In v7 (kendo ui style) seems that the attributes on the same row occupies 100% of it, even I set 200px for 1st attribute & 200px for the 2nd (the attributes will spread on entire row).

This is kind of annoying because is hard to align the attributes to look good and to have a clean form.

Anyone has a suggestion on this?

it is a bug.
but take heart, as that bug is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of form designer originating bugs.
advice: be thankful that only a minor bug is your fly in the ointment.
the most time efficient and productive solution for form design would be if it were effected via a WYSIWYG designer instead of fiddling around adjusting numerical based settings and then running and viewing the result, and then adjusting them again, and then running and viewing the result, and then tweaking them again, and then running and viewing the result, and then tweaking them yet again, and then running......

it's always better to use percentages for forms.
for example:
set label width to 30%
set attribute width to 70%
and constrain the form width to not exceed 800px for example
this will look great on desktops no matter the screen resolution
