Panel buttons lost during upgrade to v7

Hello,
Is there any suggestions for correcting this issue we encountered:

After today's upgrade from v5.9 to v7, we immediately noticed that the default panel buttons (save and close) have been affected; on most of our forms the close and/or save buttons are no longer configured as default.

Please refer to attached screen captures.

I have manually reconfigured these buttons are the forms we principally use. Is there a better way to do this? and is this normal behavior?

Hi,
I have upgraded from 5.6 to 7 (when v7 was launched), but very important, NOT on production server .
First I have to adapt my apps (forms/queries) to new platform.
You will also have to make some work before you will have the new forms. (there was a major switch from Sencha to Kendo UI).
