Mobile Auto Zoom on IPhone Problem

On an IPhone, when pressing on a field, it zooms in the field making it bigger, but the field descriptions move off the screen and leaving the field does not resize the screen properly. This does not happen on an Andriod phone.

I read alot about this is a new feature on the IPhone and to set the font size to 16px (not sure how to do that). All types of programming examples. I had the remote user was turning off functions on the IPhone such as auto focus, auto zoom, etc, but none seemed to work.

Does anyone know how to stop this auto zooming on the IPhone because it will make the mobile unusable if the user has to keep pinching the screen to try to get back to the right size. Android works perfectly. No Zoom.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Anyone running an IPhone will encounter the problem where when you press in an entry field it will auto zoom and the screen size will change and knock your Labels off the screen. After leaving the field it will not resize back and the user has to pinch the screen to try and get it back. It is mpossible to work with.

The solution is you need in the VP to set the Font to 16. This stops the Auto Zoom. However, 16 is ok for Input fields, but queries are too large that they don't really fit on the screen. Basically you are limited to just about 1 column.

A solution would be for Queries, is to set the font to 11 or 13. Does anyone know how to do this. A script? Redefine the query in HTML?

Thank you. I will look at this post in a bit. But for the queries on an IPhone that's all I should have to do is make it an HTML query with a smaller font instead of the standard grid. I assume this will work. Wil try later.

As a note, I brought it up on my IPAD up using the mobile perspective and its works perfectly, but I guess some developers would like more extensive information for tablets.
