BLOMASKY Nothing is / has changed, but after 2-3 days, I will get that error, and have to find a new port for the JVM. Anyone have an idea what could cause that? This is on my laptop. Not running much. Bruce
aware_support You need to check which application is using this port number using DOS command: netstat -a -b

Not running much. Bruce Hi Bruce, My officemate used to get that a lot (on his laptop). after disabling most of the bloatware that came with the Lenovo laptop it has stopped. I suggest you try and turn off everything that runs in the background (mostly apps that does an auto-update)
BLOMASKY When I run netstat -a -b I dont see anything on (or near) port 61616 I am running Parallels and dont have a lot of software loaded. MSSQL, ColdFusion, a few editors, thats about it. Bruce
