I'm having the same item grouping problems in my BS, but I'll use IssueResolution sample to explain it here.
- Click 'Issues' in the left menu.
- Check the last issue (#00025) under Open issues.
Based on the sorting, shouldn't this issue be higher as its date is 03/02/2016 which is greater than 02/11/2016 of issue #00014 above it?
Similar is for the Closed issues. Issues #00007 and #00017 should have their positions reversed.
From my debugging it looks like the problem is in the number of fetched records per page.
