@Support - Easier way to change "AwareIM" in URL for V7?

Hi Support;

Currently, in order to change the "AwareIM" within URL, we have to go through a series of steps by changing the folder names and also dig through files to replace names. Doing it once is not so bad, but every time we get maintenance updates, we have to go through this manual process that could lead to mistakes.

Will there be any new changes in V7 structure that will ease this process or perhaps do it once and Aware will remember it during updates?

I don't know what Support will answer, but I had this problem in the past, until I have searched for a solution and Mark pointed me out to a great automation software called http://www.winautomation.com
It's not cheap, but worth any penny. Now, I have a script that does the trick in seconds (backup folders, change names, copy text into files, etc.). I tell you, in the past every update was time consuming. Now the update is a pleasure and takes less than 30 seconds.

I'm hoping new improvements will be made to V7 in this area. If not I may have to go that route. It's best if the structure becomes more refined.

This is done automatically when you build a runtime version. If you are not using the runtime engine you will have to do it manually still. There will be no change in this area in version 7.0

Winautomation is an amazing tool and allows you to do all sorts of things that Aware would not do even if the functionality you are asking for was added.

For example....... I have my Winautomation script set up so that in addition to the Aware IM files that need to be modified....it also,

Re-establishes my entire website where it is supposed to be under Tomcat
Re-establishes my Custom folder (not preserved if you use a different folder name to AwareIM)
Updates my startup.html file
Re-establishes my multiple landing pages
Re-establish all SSL settings and certificate
Automatically restart Aware IM

Doing all this by hand takes absolute min of 20 mins.

Using Winautomation..... I install the new update of AwareIM and click one icon (execultable) on the desktop and EVERYTHING is done in about 3 seconds and system is back up.
