- no, it means that at any time you can charge the card, at any amount you define. The customer does not need to re-enter card details.
Ben - re updating the plugin for future changes by Stripe. I would suggest we don't complicate this with Awaresoft now, we can't estimate when/if/how often the API will change, nor to what degree. I don't think it is commercially justifiable to try and pass this unknown future cost to Awaresoft (and I doubt they would agree). The Braintree plugin hasn't been updated since 2013 because there has been no need to. Let's address that problem when/if it happens.
