V6 - Mobile Application Accordion Layout

Gabbitas

Hi,

The accordion layout for mobiles isn't working in version 6.

If you define an accordion layout in the main frame of a visual perspective for the mobile version and you define more than 1 content panel it is supposed to display on the phone as a carousel. This doesn't work and instead displays the first content panel at the top of the screen with a height of about 25px. There is also no menu icon displayed and so no way to navigate the mobile app either.

Thanks

Thanks for looking Support,

There is definitely a problem here for me so I've spent the last few hours trying to figure out whats going on. Ever get to the last step and think "Why didn't I do that first?"

So this is the scenario:

a) If I log in to the operation mode under my own login name whilst the version is in test mode I get the issue as described above.

b) If I log in to the operation mode under my own login name whilst the version is not in test mode everything works as it should.

c) If I log into the operation mode with any other login name, regardless of whether in test mode or not then everything works fine.

My conclusion therefore, is that there must be some data screwed where my details are held - BASDBTest_regularUser table or something. I suspect it is something to do with where the mobile theme is stored.

Very frustrated at wasting so much time on this one but, 'everyday is a school day!'

Thanks

There is definitely a problem here. Something is getting screwed somewhere along the line.

Here's what happens:

I create a RegularUser and log in to the mobile version in test mode. Everything works fine and the visual perspective works absolutely fine. Then after an unspecified amount of time and for seemingly no reason the visual perspective gets screwed and I get the symptoms as described in my first post. I am then left with only one choice and that is to create a new regular user and then everything works fine again for the new user I create. This has happened four times in the last few weeks of testing.

When this happens I have tried clearing the phones cache and even logging in to that user on a different phone and still get the same result.

I can't pinpoint how to recreate this problem.

I have only experienced this whilst in test mode so far. I'm praying it doesn't happen in my live app. If it does I'm in big trouble......I can't ask my users to recreate themselves every couple of weeks.....

Support any ideas?

Fingers crossed!
