Drop down in inline editing

Can you have a drop down in inline editing. My invoice lines are below my invoice header and I don't want to pop up a window.

I just want the user to see the box, click add, and it goes through each field. I can do this but I can't get a drop-down on this. My Item Code does not show. Is my Item_Code reference a problem or is this not possible.

So the line would look like this. (note; if I pop up a window, the Item Code is there with a drop down)

I would like the inline to look like this.

Item Code (drop down) Item Description Quantity Price Extension

You need to define a shortcut and then include shortcut for inline editing. See how this is done in the Ordering sample application.
