I am using AwareIM 5.9 and I'm getting the following error when trying to define a custom data template for a reference list.
"Exception while saving the object null"
Have I buggered something up or can others / support reproduce this problem too? I have tried deleting the business space and recreating. I have exported and re-imported my BSV but it doesn't clear the error. I have searched the forums and seen that this problem should have been fixed in build 1703
Here are the instructions on how to reproduce in the configuration tool:
1) Create a new BSV from a sample application - Photo Album
2) Find and open the 'Album' business object.
3) Open the 'Image Galley' form. Open the main section of the form. Double click the 'Items' attribute and then click edit.
4) You should now have the Reference element form open for editing. Click on 'Custom view properties'
5) Change the attribute {Name} to {ID} or make some other change.
6) Now try to save your changes by saving the business object and the error will appear. The error also appears when you try to create a custom template from scratch.
