Creating a file with Multiple Lines per Record

Hi, is it possible to create a file (csv, xls, anything) with multiple lines per record, with multiple records, all in one file?

From what I can see in documentation, other Forum comments and testing, each record appears in a single line, but we need to be able to produce a single file containing multiple lines per record, and multiple records.

You can probably do it with a query with 'Custom Data Template' using HTML tables. Then, use 3rd party program to convert HTML to excel.
