Save Form But Still See Data

Two questions

1
Is it possible to enter data and save it, but leave the data visible. So if I have an application form the data input should remain visible even after saving it, until I press the 'enter new data' button.

2
Is it possible to open a read-only form to show existing data, in the same format as with data entry.

Not sure that I have explained it properly but essentially would like a form to be used for data entry as well as a read-only view of the data.

Yes. Use the Button options on the form to accomplish this. Generally, this is the default behavior of the Save button.
On the form buttons option screen try unchecking 'Show Save button' and 'Show Close button'. I think you end up with just a Cancel button, but not sure.
