Problem Opening Query Output In New Tab

Hi There

I'm Running process which looks for Objects that meet certain Criteria. At the end of this process I want to show all the instances of this object using a query that I Have Defined which uses a 'Form' to further filter the query results.

The problem is I cannot get the Final Result Set to show in a New_Tab. I have made sure that the Output option where I call the process from is set to "New Tab".

Any Ideas or way to force aware IM to open this in a new tab.

In the VP, have you checked the box that says tabs must always be visible. If you don't have this checked, new tabs won't open

The Tabs at top & Always Show Tab are both ticked...

Any other suggestions welcome.

Okay sorry,

I misread your original post and missed the dreaded word running a process. Anything that happens started in the process will open up a modal window and from there you cannot then push any outputt back to the standard visual perspective.

You could try something like:

Run the first query from a menu option using the run the query command this will bring the outputs into the standard visual perspective panel. On that query create an " operation to be use with this form" make that operation and run query and specify the second query using format that you already designed

The final output from this query should then go to a new tab.

I haven't tried this its just a suggestion hope it helps
