Form Layout tool #$#@!&%%

The one thing that is really lacking in this product is a suitable form layout tool, In fact I think it sucks (its probably okay for basic forms but thats it)

The current tool serves its purpose , but it really is time consuming and very frustrating when attributes don't line up and appear where they should be.

Then there is a whole lot of trial and error to eventually get things right. Right now I have 3 columns on a form each allocated 33 percent and the attribute that should be in column 3 just does not want to be there, and its not like I am new to this product

I estimate at least 40 percent of my dev time is WASTED on form layout and getting forms to look good by resizing attributes to line up and look uniform

What we need is a WYSIWYG Graphical Form layout tool that lets the developer drag and drop and resize attributes on forms etc etc. Maybe something along the lines of the way Sencha Architect works that sits on top of the Configurator as an Add-on that creates the form code that can be used by the Configurator

I agree, there is a lack of GUI for creating forms. Resizing/changing/testing/back to resizing is very time consuming.

Yes, I have to say I agree and would pitch in for development of this.

But one thing, I would really like is some form responsiveness, but a separate post is coming on that topic.

I would be a glad if anything comes out in future which makes life easy in decorating forms in AwareIM. Totally agree with ACDC
