PRINT FORM function

I'm stuck on the PRINT FORM function. I see no dialog, the form does not print. Default printer is set up.
The log just says Executing action PRINT FORM myForm of myObject, nothing prints and a scrollbar appears on the screen (on right of the VP Content Panel)

I have a few questions if anyone can please share their experiences.

1) Is any print dialog meant to show up?
2) Is the object's form meant to be displayed on the screen in some way?
3) What is the best way and how to utilise this function?

The PRINT FORM seems to stop the whole process, similar to the REPORT ERROR function.
I did not find any answers search the forum so any help with this is much appreciated.

I know this is an old post, but I can not get PRINT FORM to work.

Does PRINT FORM print to the users printer?

Using AwareIM Version 7.0 Build 2177.

There is no PRINT FORM any more in Aware IM (I think). It has been superceded by the SAVE SCREEN action in version 7.1
