Well said. I concur that the report engine has difficulty with pagination when using sub reports. A fix here would be significant.

Hex colours in the report designer would be nice eg #FF0000 rather than just RGB

Could this be integrated or plugged in to run alongside the Report Designer or Form Designer as an alternative?

Getting a little experimental with jasperreport libraries.

I replaced the old JasperReports0.5.0.jar file with JasperReports.3.7.5.jar

So far AwareIM seems to generate perfectly fine, although i can't create anything new features wise, it seems to work pretty well as good as 0.5.0

Just some tinkering.

Ability to deliver rich text. It's a major drawback that I can provide a rich text attribute in my BO, but I cannot place it in a report because the report designer doesn't support it.

Can anyone confirm whether there is a way, or no way, to send rich text to the report engine? My app is all about writing notes and users really want rich text, but until I can send it to the report engine, not happening...
