"Form has been changed by another user" problem

"Form has been changed by another user" problem happens when Object's form is 'EDIT' displayed in a pop-up, you start a process to add a new item to a reference Object via process, then try to save or cancel the original pop-up form

Steps,

Click Start
Click Testing Facility
Click 'Add New' under Supply Items
Click Save or Cancel

If Add New starts a new process, then it will never work. You can start a process within another process (EDIT in this case)

The pop-up window form display wasn't started by a process, just by the internal 'Edit Object' operation.

In the popped-up form, there is a multi ref attribute, 'Add New' button on that ref attribute starts a proccess. When the process is finished, I cannot close or cancel the pop-up form & get the error message.

When you view the form 'Edit Object' not in pop-up window, start the 'Add New' process, then there is no such error message.

Still getting the same problem.

Are you saying that the 'Edit Object' start an internal process if direct output is set to pop-up?

This is a limitation currently - custom process for Add New doesn't work in a popup form (created either by a process or by an Edit operation in a pop-up window)

Your form should Refresh once the Process launched. Try adding that Process on the Form Refresh list.

Fixed like this :

Add Auto Refresh to Form Delivery Address ( Process : New Product and Objects : Delivery Address, Products )
Create a Process called EditAddress with one Rule :

EDIT DeliveryAddress USING 'EDIT'

in Customer Editing form, section Delivery Adress, Edit option use the Process "EditAddress" in Default Output

I've tested and it appease as pop-up. Can give you the bsv if you wish.

Not sure what the solution/workaround here is. All it seems to do is open the DeliveryAddress in a pop-up window which via a process instead of 'edit object'.

When I click on 'Add New' button the pop-up windows is gone and the process 'add product' starts.

Its a good workaround if the goal was to make sure the window gets closed when you start another process.

Yes it's correct, this and the auto-refresh in form fixes the pop-up problem. I've not tested the other functions of your bsv.
