AIM v5.6 build1650
ENTER NEW form window via process:

The recalculation of attributes within a multi-attribute cell (group box) when using a dynamic READ PROTECT rule does not work. Even when the rule conditions are not met the attributes within the group box are still hidden.

WORKS when:

Label is left of controls + Hide label: unticked

NOT WORKING when:

  1. Label is above controls + Hide label: unticked
  2. Hide label: ticked

The attachment you have provided proved to be a Trojan virus. Cannot express how annoyed we are.

A trojan virus? Really? Its a BSV file not a zip or exe.

Not possible. I have just downloaded one of the BSV uploaded to that service without issues.

Note: untick 'Use our download manager and get recommended downloads'

Maybe this was left ticked?

Cannot remember, maybe. In the future be extra careful when attaching anything.

And it WAS an exe called bug.exe

Whatever you are using to create the attachments - do NOT use it anymore. It's spyware/Trojan

I have merely used a 3rd party service to upload a BSV file.

Reason was so that it would be shared with the community in case they would like to test it out and comment on the issue raised.

I was not creating attachments, the file uploaded was straight exported BSV file. I think maybe that website (if the box below download is ticked) would trick the user and get them to download the .exe file instead.

If that box is unticked, the BSV file would be downloaded.

I had a feeling that if that box was left ticked this would happen, that's why I have left a note to untick it.

Anyway, I'll probably just email the BSV directly to you in the future to avoid any issues with the forum users.

Any chance you can remove links to this service from my posts? If the file was in fact a trojan, wouldn't want any links pointing to that website from this forum.

Cheers

DO NOT USE this service any more.

We have deleted the attachments from this thread. Let us know which other threads have attachments to this service

I've checked the site where the BSV file was uploaded and yes, if you keep the 'use download manager' ticked, it will make you download some 3rd party .exe file.

This is a very sneaky tactic employed by that website and has nothing to do with me. I did not upload that .exe file.

I have downloaded the 3rd party .exe file to check it out and its basically an AdWare and not a Trojan/Virus.

Scanned the file online with https://www.virustotal.com and found it to be unwanted software but it is not necessarily malicious.
