Internet Explorer 10 Compatibility Issue

We Are still on Aware IM 5.3. Recently we ran some windows updates including Internet explorer, so internet explorer is now Version 10. We noticed that this is causing some major display issues. Drop downs are cutting off text, And there is this weird sort of Drop Shadow behind all the drop downs.

Is compatibility with IE10 a know issue? Will this be addressed?

You need to update to the latest version. IE 10 was released AFTER 5.3, so there is no way 5.3 can be compatible.
