Import/Export Templates

Hi,

I have a AwareIM developers license and build 1642 installed, i can construct a import/export template without issue.

I seem to run into a problem when i try and use the newly created template, when i try and run it the system flags up the following error message "Internal Error: Feature not available in this product".

Anyone else having an issue?

Use the Menu>Standard>Import & select the template from there

Thanks support for fixing this issue in the latest build (1646).

Are we able to fire off the Import Templates from a normal process?

Developers who regularly filter data from external sources can then automate the import via a schedule instead of relying on manual intervention.

Something like..

IMPORT CUSTOM_TEMPLATE 'Some Template' FROM 'C:\blah\blah.csv'

Yes, you can use custom templates in rules in the IMPORT action. You have to use the USING clause:

IMPORT MyObject FROM 'c:\temp\myfile.csv' USING 'MyTemplate'
