Remote connect to server with COnfiguration Tool ERROR

Remote connection to server from Configuration Tool in LAN dose not work,
tested on 2 servers nad 2 computers.
error msg below:

It does work and has been tested by many customers.

Please refer to the Installation Guide for the list of common problems.

I would say, Installation Guide is not complete.

For all having this error:

Error establishing connection with the server. ERROR: org.openadaptor.adaptor.jms.JMSSink - init() failed with JMS Queue/Topic PublishException: org.openadaptor.adaptor.jms.PublishException: org.openadaptor.adaptor.jms.JMSPublisher - connect() failed with NamingException: javax.naming.CommunicationException: Receive timed out [Root exception is java.net.SocektTimeoutException: Receive timed out]

You have to open not only 9000 ports but also 9650, 1098
and I don't know way 9655 port.
It takes me an hour to find out witch port cause the problem.

The whole idea of running the Config Tool remotely on the same LAN is that it runs BEHIND THE FIREWALL, so you do not have to open any ports.

If Config Tool is in front of the firewall you are unlikely to get it to work. It MUST BE behind the firewall.

When I realized that i can't work with other developers in real time
on same business space I was really shocked,
please, move it on the top of your to-do list 🙂
....and ability to check more than one e-mail account is important for us too.
