Firefox V18 - Aware throws error

Users have auto updated to latest version of FF and are getting this error:

some menu buttons don't work at all (click results in nothing happening)
some menu bars (toolbars) at the top of forms do not display correctly (a small box appears on the top left instead of the form toolbar)

We are currently advising all users NOT to update to Firefox V18.

It seems that Sencha and Mozilla are aware of this issue. They are still debating on who should fix the problem. In the mean time the problem goes away if Firebug is ON in firefox.

Pity 99.9% of our users have no idea what Firebug is.
