Timeout page is not working

Hi,

I'm using the timeout page in the BS properties to redirect the time out to the guest page:

http://bbmriregister.meb.ki.se:8080/AwareIM/logonGuest.aw?domain=RegisterTest

When the section timeout event occurs, it doesn't go to the above URL but to:
http://bbmriregister.meb.ki.se:8080/AwareIM/logonAdmin.html
which is asking for the Business space, user name, password and testing mode.

How can I redirect to the guest perspective when section timeout ?

What is a timeout page? Sounds like something I can use. Is there a reference for that?

What are you doing when the timeout occurs?

Timeout page is where Aware IM will go to when session timeout occurs

In the Configuration Tool, right click on the BSV name. You will see Timeout Page option.

It's important that you tell us exactly which operation you were trying to perform before you got the timeout message and was re-directed to the wrong page

I do not find it, but there is:

Righ click business name version when is locked por editing -> Properties... And here it is!

My guest access level has several functionalities. It is possible to execute queries, processes... It hapens for example:

when selecting a tab in the main window that has a presentation presenting a query result
when selected an option from my left menu in the visual perspective (the menu option triggers a query)
when clicking on a location on the google map...

when the timeout always goes to:

The timeout proble has a different behaviour when the AwareApp.goHome() function is invoked from the HTML menu. I get:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
-<root> -<login_action_return> <failure timeout="true">Session has timed out</failure> </login_action_return> </root>

I do really hope to get some help with this. I have been trying everything with no succes.

In our tests the timeout page has been mostly working fine. We did discover some scenarios when it wasn't working and this has been fixed in build 1603

One more question:

Is there something special to do before installing the new version? I mean, do I have to delete the old one, do I need a new productID, etc?
In the installation guide it looks like it is just to run the setup.exe over the old installation.

Of course, always do a backup before installing the latest build. Then, yes, you can just install the new version over the old version.
