Guest session timeout ask for BS name

Hi,

My application is loaded in the browser using the guest perspective. The timeout event shows the login dialog asking for the BS name, user name and password. It isn't the same from the member or admin perspective. The dilaog ask only for the user name and password. It seems to be that the guest perspective is not remembering the domain. The URL to the guest perspective is:

http://bbmriregister.meb.ki.se:8080/AwareIM/logonGuest.aw?domain=BBMRIRegister

Actually, I would like to redirect the timeout from the guest perspective to the same URL (above). Is it possible to do that? I mean; the guest doesn't need to login.

Any advice is very welcome.

What version / build are you running. This info should be included in all problem reports.

Hi Tom,

I'm using V5.3 - build 1549 - on Windows. I haven't dared to upgrade to version 5.5 because we are going to launch the application the next week and I want to avoid the "last minute" problem.

Sorry Tom, I missed the last part of your message. What do you mean by "This info should be included in all problem reports"? Is it something I should do?

No, I don't have a solution, but it's helpful to always report your build # and version number on this Problem Report forum. In some cases, folks may be using a version / build # before a particular problem was solved & documented at:

Thanks Tom I couldn't find any information about this issue in the repository.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. The only thing I can think of is that I'm referencing the site using logonGuest.aw in the URL:

http://bbmriregister.meb.ki.se:8080/AwareIM/logonGuest.aw?domain=BBMRIRegister

Hope aware-support or some one else can give me a clue.

I got it!
The problem was that I'm working with 2 environments: test and production.
When I imported the test BS into the production BS I forgot to change the "Timeout page" in the BS version properties. It was directing to the test BS which is not the default BS. That's why it was asking for the BS name.
Is there a way to avoid the login window when the timeout occurs in the guest perspective?

It didn't work. The timeout direct to another page:

http://bbmriregister.meb.ki.se:8080/AwareIM/logonAdmin.html

even when the BS timeout page is:

http://bbmriregister.meb.ki.se:8080/AwareIM/logonGuest.aw?domain=BBMRIRegister

It is a bug?
