Loss of icons after upgrading to 5.5

I have recently been evaluating AwareIM - what a great piece of software. I have just installed 5.5, and all icons from forms (I was only using defaults) have disappeared.

Have I missed something in the upgrade process, or do I have to manually link each button to an icon now?

If you hold the shift key and click refresh they generally come back ok.

Or try to re-publish your BSV. They should come back

I did a publish on my version (1.1). The icons (eg: for Save and Close buttons) still don't appear in that version. I created a new version 1.2, and when I put that version into test, the icons still don't appear. I can't manually link those buttons to icons, because I can't see where to browse. When I updated to 5.5, is it possible the folder for these icons has been corrupted?

So you are talking about default icons only? Not your custom icons?

Are you using the default theme?

And have you refreshed the browser and clear browser cache?

My custom added icons are missing after upgrading from Aware 4.9 to 5.9.
My custom icons are all replaced by the default icons (query, process, ...).

Clearing my browsers cache does not solve the problem.

Hi Barry,

I am feeling my way in the dark here but if I could hazard a guess I would check to see if the Theme that you were using in 4.9 still exists in 5.9.

Also, the css names for default icons (which it seems yours might be) could possibly have changed as going from 4.9 to 5.9 is a big leap. There were lots of changes in 5.9

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your suggestion, but I switched to another theme and still same problem: custom icons are not displayed.

In fact the custom icons I used were files (not CSS classes).
The icons still exist on the webserver, but aren't used anymore by Aware for generating my menu-items.

Same problem on Aware v. 5.8
