Problem Exporting V5.5

Hello all,

I've searched the forum before writing this one, but could not find the answer to my specific problem. FYI my build number is Showing menu item below query with zero results?.

I am having a problem exporting the application that I've created. The last time I was successful exporting with version 5.3, the size of the file was just 9 mb. Pretty small for an application.

Since upgrading to 5.5 this would be my first opportunity to export this application again (with a few edits on business forms and reports). I've upped the system setting resources to 10 gb each yet Aware still keeps on crashing with that blue spin wheel (mac interface).

Kindly help please, what could be causing this?

Also, what is the optimum or advisable resource numbers for the system setting anyway?

If you are on Mac try below tip. I have 1048 Mb for all settings but 512 should be fine :

Setting memory for the Aware IM server in a usual way does not work on a Mac. You shouldn't use the Settings button on the Aware IM Control Panel to do this.

You need to do this instead:

1) Open the file AwareIM.app/Contents/Info.plist (Show Package Contents for the AwareIM application and then go inside the Contents folder to find this file)
This should start the appropriate editor for this file. The editor should show a tree
2) In this editor go to Root/Java/VMOptions and change the -Xmx96m setting to something bigger for example -Xmx512m
3) Save the file
4) Restart Aware IM
