A functional difference with IE and other Browsers

I'm witnessing a functional difference between IE and other browsers in which IE seems to retain context when it shouldn't. I have a form with a button that starts a process that displays a document about a person object.

Normally, each time a different person object is selected the button produces the report about the person-object whose form is displayed. In IE, once a person is selected, it continues to produce a report on the first person-object selected no matter what. The only work-around is to log out completely.

I can reproduce this 100% of the time.

Support, I'll be happy to screen-cam this behavior and send my BSV over if you care to investigate. In the mean time, I'll poke at it a bit.

AwareIM v 5.3, 1549
IE v 9

Upon running some tests, it appears that IE is pulling the cached version of the document. If I clear temporary internet files, the problem is resolved but this requires the files to be deleted after each new selection. Clearly no good.

Does anyone know why IE exhibits this behavior and other browsers do not?

Does anyone know how to force IE to stop doing this?

I do not know why this happens, but I have seen it as well.

The only work around seems to be to basically turn off caching in IE.
