Help please! Problem with Configuration Tool

Hi,

I have been using version 5.3 build 1549 with no problem what so ever. Today I was making some changes to a BS and when I try to make it available for testing I get:

"Exception changing status of the business space version AwareIM server encountered the following error .Error persisting business space A lock could not be obtained with the time requested"

Any help is very welcome!

not 100% sure on this, but I think I have seen this when I have a process that is hung in a loop or long running. have you tried restarting the Aware server and trying again?

Restart of the db will also solve eg restart MySQL, you probably have a never ending process (looping etc)

The problem was solved by just dropping the folder BASDBTEST. I had no important data to save because it is just a test environment. Hope to know what to do if it is a production application with real data.
