Tick Boxes on VIEW record

Process to VIEW a BO instance using a form that has YES/NO attribute.

When that form opens all the attributes are locked read only (correctly cause it is a VIEW) but the YES/NO attribute can still be clicked on/off and when navigating away from the record you are asked if you want to save the record.

This effectively allows the user to EDIT the record even though it is a VIEW only.

In my exprience will not allow the user to save the changes, even when promted you must cancel. This render method drive me bonkers too.

that's interesting that your users can't save the changes, in our situation users can tick/untick a box, then when you go to close the tab are prompted with:

"There are unsaved changes in the form of object Invoices.
Do you want to save them?"

If you click yes then the form does get saved and attributes are updated. It is a bit of a security issue since it is a VIEW form.

Support has indicated that they found & fixed this. An update should be coming out soon.

Looks like this was fixed in version 5.3 build 1528.
