Customer Survey Link Form

I am wanting to develop an App that would email a URL link to customer email with a link to my App for a survey form.

So basically the URL link emailed to the customer will take them to a website and they don't have to login at all and they just fill out some questions and click a submit button that would then pass all their answers to 1 or mutiple atttributes in my AwareIM app.

Has anyone done something similar to this using AwareIM?

Just use guest access and do the whole thing in AwareIM or you could also write to an external database table from your website and connect to that database from inside AwareIM.

Thanks for the suggestion Pete. I want to do this survey form in AwareIM and I think I can use the guest account so when I email them the URL link, it would have all the guest login info to the correct domain.

However, on the URL link for AwareM, is it possible to include an edit form and a particular business object record? For example if Customer-A has a completed Order#1, when Customer-A clicks on the URL link (with guest login and all) that I would email him, I want it to go straight to an edit form o the business object for Order#1.

I think that it would be handled by a process upon guest access. See 'First Command' on page83 of the user guide. If you are okay with passing user credentials in the url, you don't need to use guest access, it can be the users access level.

Hey taking another look at the mobile app documentation regarding URL login parameters, I saw a the firstCommand name option that I might be able to use to include the particular objectid. I am going to give this a try.

My plan of using parametized URL link with the domain, username, password, perspective, and firstCommand options to edit a specific Object ID works. However, it uses the default Main form. Is there any way to specify which editform to use?
