Rules in Html format (Plain text) attribute

I have an attribute Message (Plain text Html format using html editor) in OutgoingEmail BO.
I also have dynamic rule there that sets-inserts certain text depending on other dropdown attribute if chosen to this OutgoingEmail.Message.

It works fine when this attribute OutgoingEmail.Message is Plain text-Standart format.

But it doesnt work when an attribute Plain text-Html format using html editor.

Is it usual or a bug?

did you hear anything back on this issue?

I'm having the same problem.

Wanting to have a set of "default email" saved as Plain Text HTML Format.
If i select a pull down list this will populate the email body. If the Email Body is set to plain text everything works and i get a bunch of HTML tags etc. If i set to HTML Format it dosn't seem to work.

I take it this is still a bug because I'm having trouble with this as well. In fact, I can't even get the email body to use html formatting at all even though the attribute is set to HTML Format.

Nevermind...I got it to work perfectly. I changed all the double quotes to single quotes in my html code (like <span style='color:green;'> for example) and then I made sure to add the opening and closing <html> tag and everything worked great!
