Wish list: Save form at start of process

It would be nice to have an option to force a save of the form before a process starts (from the form).

For example. We have a form and a button on the form kicks off a process to generate a report. We often find users enter details in the form, don't hit save, and then use the process button - which will deliver an empty report.

We use a DISPLAY MESSAGE to try and remind them but it would be better to just force a save of the form instead at the commencement of the process.

Why don't you save the form in the beginning of the process with UPDATE

This functionality is available from Javascript enabled HTML links - there is a function that starts a process from a form with an option to save the form before the process starts. Please check the User Guide for available Javascript functions
