Users Cannot connect

Some users are having trouble connecting to our server. Most users are able to connect fine when they click on our link the log in screen appears and they can log in. but a few users when they click on the link they just get a white screen and in the top it says "loading" until eventually it gets timed out. We have tried all different browsers with no luck. We also viewed the routers firewall to make sure it wasn't blocking the request but it wasn't we saw the request coming through the firewall and going to awareIM but nothing came back. I have viewed all of the logs but can't find any errors. Does any one know what might be causing this to happen or what specific logs I should be viewing to access information on this problem? We are using version 4.9

Sounds like it might be an IE9 browser issue. It was fixed in build 1427 per http://www.awareim.com/changelog/Readme1427.txt

Thanks but no, we have tried all different browsers, IE8, IE9, Chrome, Firefox, with no success, just for these users. For all others it's working fine.

Hi,

So is it the users or the computer that the users are using, or perhaps the location that the problem users are logging in from? If it is the user, have you tried changing their access level to see if it is related to that?

Just as an aside, in the past I had a business space where the first screen was a complex presentation and sometimes did the same thing, is your home screen fairly basic or resource intensive? What are your memory settings? Have you tried increasing them?

Don't laugh ... but could it be a simple typo. The url string is case sensitive. I tend to create shortcuts for all my users - or at least send them the string in an email so they can create their own
