Using LoggedInRegularUser in a Query

We have created a query as follows:

FIND MessageUser WHERE MessageUser.EffectiveFrom<=CURRENT_DATE AND MessageUser.EffectiveTo>=CURRENT_DATE AND MessageUser.RegularUserID.ID=LoggedInRegularUser AND MessageUser.RegularUserID.IsActive='Yes' ORDER BY MessageUser.EffectiveFrom DESC

Each time we edit the query it puts single quotes around LoggedInRegularUser as follows:

FIND MessageUser WHERE MessageUser.EffectiveFrom<=CURRENT_DATE AND MessageUser.EffectiveTo>=CURRENT_DATE AND MessageUser.RegularUserID.ID='LoggedInRegularUser' AND MessageUser.RegularUserID.IsActive='Yes' ORDER BY MessageUser.EffectiveFrom DESC

Should this be a reserved word and not do this?

It took us a number of hours trying to work out why the query stopped after adding an attribute to the results.

Looks like it should be:

LoggedInRegularUser.ID

I thought just putting LoggedInRegularUser would have worked that out as you can only select MessageUser.RegularUser.ID in the simple form which is where we built the query.

But that solves the issue, I didn't think to do that.
